Martvili Canyon – Georgia

Martvili Canyon is located about 50 km from Kutaisi in Georgia. It’s not too big. The biggest attraction is a short pontoon trip (obligatory with a guide) on the Abasha River, which shows us the true beauty of this gorge. This place is a miracle of nature. The trip lasts very short, about 20 minutes, to see the rest of the canyon, 15-20 minutes is enough. You will see there pristine clear water, including beautiful waterfalls. All around the canyon is surrounded by countless greenery. No photos can show all the beauty of these places.

Admission for an adult costs 17.25 GEL (approx. 6 euro), and for a child 5.5 GEL (approx. 2 euro). A pontoon trip is an additional cost and amounts to 15 GEL (approx. 5 euro). It is open all week (except Mondays) from 10:00-18:00.
